Earth Fare and Boston Interactive Partner to Start 'A Healthy Journey'
Boston, MA, October 28, 2009 - Boston Interactive, a Boston web design, strategy, and interactive marketing firm, announces the launch of the redesigned website for Earth Fare (www.earthfare.com). Earth Fare is one of the largest natural foods grocer providing organic and local food products in order to achieve their mission of feeding and inspiring the healthy person in all of us.
Earth Fare partnered with Boston Interactive to transform its web brand into a highly interactive, compelling, and engaging web community. The newly designed website accentuates the benefits of healthy eating and invites Earth Fare community members to share, comment, and become involved in the cause of healthy eating. This is a unique approach to the web as Earth Fare strives to educate and motivate their audience about healthy living and the role that natural and organic food plays in each of our lives. In addition to a highly stylized new design, the website provides some very useful features such as a personal Health Journey support program, an interactive events calendar, a healthy recipes database and more.
The redesigned website can be used in a multitude of ways all focused on healthy living. Users can learn about Earth Fare's Food Philosophy, take The Boot Challenge (which teaches visitors about the unhealthy ingredients in non-natural foods), or sign up for 'My Health Journey' which provides members with personalized meal ideas, grocery list suggestions, and coupons based upon their eating habits. The site also includes a robust calendar where visitors can see what events are going on at their local store such as cooking classes, children's events, and educational seminars. Aside from the tremendous amount of valuable information, the visual design pushes the envelope on visitor engagement and creates a truly compelling sense of 'place'.
