Boston Interactive Launches New Website for International Data Group
International Data Group, the global leader in technology media, events, and research, recently partnered with Boston Interactive for the launch of their new corporate website. This diverse company reaches over 270 million people in 90 different countries with more than 200 magazine publications and nearly 500 websites, through ownership of brands such as MacWorld, PCWorld, and GamePro. Continuing their commitment to evolving technology and the importance of an online presence, IDG enlisted Boston Interactive to architect and design their new website.
Boston Interactive created an engaging website to build upon IDG's existing identity and communicate the company's position of leadership and global influence in the world of technology. The homepage features an animated banner to showcase IDG's top products and services, and intuitive strategic information architecture allows users to quickly locate desired products and easily access contact information. A highlight of the redesign is an interactive map representing IDG's worldwide presence including product availability and reach statistics for locations across the globe. Created to be compatible across all browsers and platforms, the map utilizes HTML5 as opposed to Adobe Flash.
