Boston Interactive Takes Home NESHCo Lamplighter Award

Boston Interactive is proud to announce that the website they created for the Pediatric Physicians’ Organization at Children’s’ Hospital (PPOC) has been recognized by the New England Society of Healthcare Communications’ (NESHCo) Lamplighter Awards. The Lamplighter Awards annually honors exceptional healthcare communications, drawing more than 300 entries in the 2012 competition. The PPOC website earned a Gold Award, the highest level in the category for Agency Produced Websites, receiving the following judge’s comments:

“Excellent entry in every way. The research that went into creating the strategy behind this tool laid the foundation for its success, and the results/analytics are impressive. It is a site that engages the viewer and offers various tools that allow doctors to better manage their practice. The overall site look-and-feel was clean, organized and engaging.”

The PPOC website earned a Gold Award, the highest level in the category for Agency Produced Websites. PPOC had no previous online presence prior to partnering with Boston Interactive and was interested in creating an online community for their members that highlighted their commitment to quality care. Boston Interactive built a digital space to strengthen PPOC’s mission while promoting the organization’s trustworthiness to the general public. An important part of the project is the secure member login area which supports 5 tiers of access and provides quick access to resources including industry events, news, and discussion forums.
